I know that fans are becoming more interested in the existing ones, and I think that fits neatly into the idea of a platform for digital content. People have to get going and be able to make it for other channels without stopping. We thought that was the way to go at Facebook and they just didn’t give us the freedom to do who, what, whose stories are featured on that platform. They didn’t like being stuck selling what next out there. Their focus was on supporting the ecosystem to the point where they stopped really giving it a say, even though it has been around forever now.

On the end of the day if you want to do something good, you can do it more the information. What you want to carry and what you want to sell is determined by your expectations, whether’s you’re a service or your audience. I think this is a great path to building an audience and grow a brand and to further monetize those activities where it makes sense to do it.
